Live Streaming is a feature of SymposiumLIVE which allows students to view all of the events created by an administrator or instructor of a section. These events, which typically play media content relevant to a given course, are shown live.
The instructor or course creator has the option to create a live streaming event. The interface provided by SymposiumLIVE through Blackboard gives the user the ability to setup all of the options for the event, including a description and start and end date.
Students can register for an event by going to the Event Listing section under Live Streaming. Registration is only permitted once per student, and requires the student to confirm with an email address. The integrated Event-Creator system will schedule the student and send an email with all of the relevant information.
