SymposiumLIVE offers easy communication between course instructors and course viewers. The ability to upload video or video with accompanying documents into the Blackboard system is just one of many features included in the suite of tools provided by the SymposiumLIVE building block.
This powerful feature provides two way communications between student and teacher in a way never before possible in the Blackboard system.
Using a simple interface, the user can upload a video in a number of supported formats (.ra, .rm, .mp4, .mov, .flv, .wmv, .mp3, .wma) and can even include captioning information for the video.
Additionally a document can also be uploaded with the video. A wide range of formats are also supported for this (.doc / .pdf / .txt /.ppt /.rtf).
Once uploaded, the assignments can be reviewed and edited by the student.
